How to Use Meeting Rooms

Meeting rooms on the JetWebinar platform are designed to be simple and easy ways for you to connect with colleagues, customers or host groups with up to 10 attendees.

Create a Meeting Room

Your first step is to create a meeting room. Click on 'Create Event' and select 'Host a Meeting Room'.

Then, pick a name for that meeting room - this will be the unique URL for this meeting room.

Once the meeting room is created, it is ready for use. It can always be accessed through that link.

Using your Meeting Room

Once you have created your meeting room, it is ready for use. It is 'always on', meaning that it is always ready for you to access through the special URL that you created. You do not need to recreate the room every time you go to use it, and you can create as many rooms as you need.

This makes it very easy to share the meeting room link - since it never changes!

To log in to your meeting room: simply use the link that you created. Logging in as an attendee allows you to still share your screen; logging in as a Host allows you to: 

• Record the meeting (which will be stored in your Recordings tab on your Dashboard)
• Kick participants (in case you need to get someone out of your room, simply click on the X in the top corner of their window).
• If multiple people are sharing their screens, allows you to choose one to 'focus' on for your team.

Finding your meeting rooms

To find all the meeting rooms and their links in your account, you can find them upon logging in to your main dashboard, clicking on 'All Events', then 'Meeting Rooms'.

You can edit, delete or create new meeting rooms as required.

What are some uses for meeting rooms?

You can create multiple rooms, so you can use them for a number of purposes, including:

• Team meetings
• Breakout rooms
• Meeting with clients
• Recording sessions to be used for automated webinars
• and much more!
